The so-called "Maia Seamount" is a small islet.
The zone that surrounds this islet in a radius of 150mts is considered a marine reserve zone, so it is not possible to fish here.
This area is always subject to strong currents and ripples, but these are the conditions that make it ideal to see shoals of pelagic fish such as Bicuda, Amberjacks and White Trevally.
Some current is expected.
