This is the simplest dive in the Berlengas.
The Sleeping Pit (translated from Portuguese) is a sheltered bay, with a maximum depth of 12mts and in which we often find ourselves at depths of 2mts. This may give the idea of an uninteresting dive point, but it is not so. The sleeping pit has caves with large Forkbeards and lobsters. There are also walls full of cracks and holes to peek into. Excellent for "macro" photography. A great dive for everyone!
