Pedra da Nau is more or less located in front of the Hotel Villa Italia, in a small bay with rocks. On the highest rock, we can see cormorants. It is a dive spot with easy access by land, which offers great diving both in the middle of the bay and around the Pedra da Nau. The place has excellent conditions for those who are beginners, as the small bay to the east of Pedra da Nau is a very sheltered area and has low bottoms and large sand surfaces.
Most of the bay that precedes Nau's main rock has a sandy bottom with some scattered rocks. However, as we approach the Nau, the density of the rocks begins to increase, with large rocks creating paths with sandy bottoms, huge holes and cracks where sea bass and other species can often be found.
